The Romans Return
Saturday 15 May - Sunday 16 May
10am - 5.30pm

The Romans return in force, some 1600 years after the last legionary soldier left the fort located here.

With the help of a detachment of soldiers from the Roman Military Research Society, the site will become the focus for full-on Roman action once again.

-Military displays
-Roman fighting techniques and battle tactics
-Authentic Roman encampment
-Roman ladies' fashion show
-Children's activities

With plenty of participation for children, including dressing-up, kiddies drills and games, it will be a day of total immersion in all things Roman.
