9th & 10th 3pm to 3pm: See Nick Jackson and team complete a gruelling 24 hour rowathon in front of Terra Nova as part of their training programme for the Woodvale Atlantic Rowing Race 2009. You can cheer them on, donate funds, sponsor them, take the opportunity to interview them even – they are a great team that will be rowing 24 hours a day for possibly 80 days when they leave the Canaries on 6th December. Mermaid Quay will be supporting them all the way!
15th Possible press launch for the Woodvale Atlantic Rowing Race 2009 from the Mermaid Quay Inner Harbour – details to be confirmed and will be circulated to you in due course.
24th October to 1st November : Cardiff is about to get even better with the arrival of St David’s Shopping Centre and our shops, services, bars and restaurants will be joining in our celebrations across the nine days – join in with the children’s workshops, see magicians, cheerleaders, children’s entertainers, play games, go to the Baby Disco, take part in the Galilean Nights event in conjunction with Techniquest (24th 6pm-8.30pm), try out karaoke or Guitar Hero and celebrate Hallowe’en in the disco – plus much, much more. You really cannot visit Cardiff without visiting Mermaid Quay – after all, there is only one Waterfront! More details will follow plus timetable of activites for your information.

Wardrobe Diaries brings these to life through a thrilling combination of aerial feats, dance and humour in a show that is conceived, produced and directed by former No Fit State ImMortal performer James Roberts, with support from No Fit State Circus.
