Experience the thrills and spills of Wales Rally GB, the UK’s biggest motorsport event!

Wales Rally GB, the final round and climax of the high-octane FIA World Rally Championship, revs into town from 4-7 December 2008 – and you can be part of it!

Now in its 76th year, this legendary sporting event attracts the fastest and most spectacular rally cars, not to mention the world’s best drivers, including Sébastien Loeb, Mikko Hirvonen and Petter Solberg – plus eight times motorcycle world champion, Valentino Rossi.

This year promises to be the most enthralling and adrenalin-fuelled yet, with 19 action-packed stages, taking in some of Wales’s most breathtaking scenery – from the fast, flowing roads of the Mid Wales forests, which make a welcome return after a seven-year absence, to the narrow tracks of the South Wales valleys.

For the fourth consecutive year, the Cardiff Stage will take place at the world-class Millennium Stadium on the evening of Saturday 6 December. The only one of its kind in Europe, this indoor, timed rally stage is the ultimate spectator experience. It’s also undergone an exciting revamp for 2008, so you can expect quicker straights and even bigger power slides than ever before!

Before the rally cars enter the stadium for Saturday’s Cardiff Stage, the scene will be set with an amazing ‘Fire and Ice’ themed entertainment extravaganza – headlined by top girl band The Saturdays, performing live on stage.

With Wales Rally GB’s ‘Kids for a Quid’ ticket offer, children aged 15 and under can experience Saturday night’s Cardiff Stage from just £1* and will receive a free gift – a set of bang sticks to use in the stadium and add to the atmosphere. (*Terms and conditions apply.)
